Deleting your account and data

From inside the app

1. Sign in and go to Settings → Privacy & Data.
2. Before deleting, use Download my data if you want a copy — this cannot be undone afterwards.
3. Choose Delete my account and confirm.

You will get a reference number so you can follow the request.

By email

If you cannot sign in, email hello@rxstock.in from the address registered on the account. We will verify it is you before acting.

What gets deleted

• Your name, email address, mobile number and login credentials are permanently removed from the account record.
• Your account is deactivated and can no longer be signed in to.

What is retained, and why

Invoices, sales, purchases and ledger entries are financial records. Indian tax and accounting rules require these to be kept for a defined period, and deleting them would also break the integrity of invoices already issued to your customers. They are therefore retained — without the identifiers that link them to you as an individual — rather than destroyed. Consent records are likewise kept as evidence of what was agreed and when.

Deleting your customers’ data

Customer records you entered belong to your pharmacy, not to RxStock — you can edit or remove them yourself from the Customers section while your account is active. If one of your customers asks you to erase their details, that request is yours to action.
