Bring your store records with you.

Move in manageable steps and verify your opening figures.

  1. Export a copy of your current records.

Keep medicine names, barcodes, supplier details, batches, quantities, expiry dates and purchase prices. Separately list each customer’s outstanding balance. Retain your original files.

  2. Import the medicine catalogue.

In the web app, open Medicines → Import CSV and download the sample format. Check the preview and resolve errors before importing. Catalogue import does not automatically migrate stock batches or customer balances.

  3. Record opening stock by batch.

Add batches with their actual expiry, quantity and cost. Use Stock counts to compare shelf quantities, then have the owner approve adjustments.

  4. Reconcile outstanding balances.

Contact us to plan the transfer of customer opening balances; there is no bulk balance import in the current workflow. Do not create fictitious sales to represent old credit. Record supplier invoice payments so historical purchases do not look unpaid.

  5. Check your first day.

Verify a sample bill, stock quantities, customer dues and supplier balances. Set delivery lead times and payment terms, then use daily cash closing to reconcile collections.
